Boy, what a fun week off! After the doctors surgically removed the peculiar self-aware appendages growing out of my spine, I had plenty of coma-inducing medication to enjoy while twitching alone in a gutter. Say what you will about the homeless, they throw a good party, if by "party" you mean passing around a bottle of warm peppermint schnapps after stealing all my money. But hey, at least I was invited for once.

Posts are going to be short for a little while, whilst I recover from this and other unspoken ailments. I fear I am too well-medicated to be of any use grammatically. Hell, I don't even feel like being angry at the bush administration, so what does that tell you? Oh, wait. I shouldn't have written that. Now they have a psychic excuse to do something horrifying again. If anyone reading this would knock on wood for me right now, that might be helpful, otherwise let's just pretend that democracy was never invented and collectively lower our expectations to around the time of the Middle Ages for the next couple of years.

But since I'm on the topic of george w. bush, I'd like to link to this AP article concerning his visit to Guatemala. There is bad PR and then there is really bad PR. Headline: "Priests to purify site after bush visit." Classic.

So yeah. No creative energy. No drive. Heavily medicated. "Blood Diamond" playing in the background, the sounds alone enough to give me nightmares. For the time being, I am considering updating only twice a week, but we'll see what happens.

I go sleep now.
